European Standard Distance Age-Group Championships 2017

Scores on the doors for the Great Britain Age-Group team in Kitzbuhel…

With the Sprint (Dusseldorf, next weekend) and Standard (Kitzbuhel) ETU European Championships being split over two venues from 2017, just one set of Great Britain Age-Group Team Medals to report from the weekend at the ETU Triathlon European Championships.

Last years championships in Lisbon saw a haul of 22 medals (including seven Gold) over the Standard Distance. That figure was surpassed by four this past weekend (26 in total), with an increase in Gold’s too, from six to ten.

The fastest British female overall was Victoria Baker. She took gold in the 30-34 category with the third fastest female age-group time of the race. The fastest British male was Donald Brooks. Like Victoria he was third fastest overall and that effort earned him top spot in the 40-44 division.
