Sunday’s Challenge Salou on the Costa Durada, Spain once again showed how the elements can impact the best-laid plans of event organisers. High winds earlier on Sunday morning meant a cancelled swim, which was to be replaced by an opening 5km run, the event held in duathlon format.
As we reported yesterday, Lisa Norden (SWE) and Collin Chartier (USA) would come out on top.
Following up on that report – and with great thanks to regular contributor José Luis Hourcade (www.joseluishourcade.com) – we can bring you the tale of the race in pictures.
