Guildford Super Sprint Triathlon
10th August 2017
Surrey Sport Park, Guildford GU2 7AD

Guildford’s first ever Super Sprint Triathlon is starting at 18:45 on Thursday 10th August 2017. The state-of-the-art facility Surrey Sports Park serves as an easily accessible venue for those commuting from work via the A3 (London, Woking, Portsmouth), A31 (Farnham) A25, and for those based locally. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this midweek evening triathlon by award-winning organisers aat-events.

A good mix of novices and veterans took part in the Guildford (Sprint) Triathlon earlier this year, and a similar field is expected to compete in this shorter super sprint event – which, with a pool swim, boasts serious PB potential. As with the Guildford Triathlon, places often sell out online in advance, so prepare to book soon to avoid disappointment!

Guildford Super Sprint Triathlon participants first complete a 200m swim in the 25 meter pool, before embarking on a 14km road bike along quiet roads around Guildford. Triathletes then finish with a fairly flat 3km trail run. Participants are invited to complete the triathlon as part of a relay team or as an individual competitor.

All finishers receive a large, quality medal before treating themselves to a Starbucks coffee, sports massages and fantastic deals from the event sponsor Salming.
