A virtual jog with Sir Mo…

Indoor training application, Zwift, have for several years now held rides hosted by professional cyclists and triathletes – we’ve had many host our own TRI247 Workout Series sessions for example.

Here’s an opportunity to do similar on Zwift Run (more on that HERE), courtesy of a Christmas Eve 5km with London 2012 and Rio 2016 double-double Gold medallist, Mo Farah. The run starts at 2:30 p.m. today (Christmas Eve), UK-time.

Do you want to run with Mo Farah on Christmas Eve?

Zwift, the leading indoor training app is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity that you won’t want to miss!

The holidays are a time for traditions, and each year, Zwift CEO Eric Min enjoys hosting events for the Zwift community.

This Christmas Eve, he will be joined on the Holiday Run by four-time Olympian Mo Farah.

A double Olympic gold Medalist in 2012 and 2016, Mo Farah is the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic history and he is targeting further success at Tokyo 2020.

The Holiday Run with Mo Farah and Eric Min gives you a shot at running alongside the famed distance runner.

Have any questions? Just want to talk? Join the start line early and stick around afterwards to chat with other runners. Head to Watopia on December 24.

Doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your ability level is. These five kilometers across Watopia are open to everyone. See old friends. Make new ones. Head to Watopia on December 24 at 2:30 p.m. GMT / 6:30 a.m. PST.

How to use Zwift

The Zwift app is free to download on iOS and Google Play, so all runners will be able to run for free without subscribing to the app.

That said, in order to use the Zwift app on a treadmill, runners will need a bluetooth enabled footpod, such as the Zwift RunPod, or a Bluetooth enabled treadmill.
