US triathlon phenom Taylor Knibb will miss her intended seasonal debut at T100 Singapore on Saturday April 5.
The 27-year-old superstar has been pretty much unbeatable over middle distances in recent years, claiming three consecutive IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship titles, and topping the inaugural T100 World Tour standings in 2024.
The Boulder prodigy would have started a hot favourite to open her season in style again in South East Asia next month, but she has announced that the trip is now off her agenda.

Taylor, writing on her Instagram account, said: “Due to personal reasons, I will not be racing or traveling to @t100triathlon Singapore. I’m looking forward to racing the next stop of the tour at @t100triathlon San Francisco.”
That San Francisco race takes place on May 31, and will see Knibb start the defence of her T100 title at an iconic triathlon venue.
Taylor also has the goal of becoming IRONMAN World Champion for the first time in 2025 – she finished fourth in Kona on her full-distance debut back in 2023.
Knibb is looking to seal qualification for Hawaii this October at IRONMAN Texas on April 26. We look forward to seeing her back in action very soon.
